A major fire broke out at a factory in Cama industrial estate of Goregaon in Mumbai.

According to initial information, the fire broke out at around 7:30 am in Awasthi compound of the industrial estate.

Fire was confined in the area about 100X150 in a ground plus one structure used as a factory.

15 fire engines, water tanks, and ambulance rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

No person was injured in the fire.

"Around 8.30 am we got information that a level-3 fire call is declared in Awasthi compound, Kama estate. "As of now there is no information about people trapped inside is available. Efforts are on to douse the fire," said an official from disaster control unit.
