MUMBAI: Police on Saturday seized a large quantity of explosives, used for quarrying, at a village near Aurangabad and arrested two persons in this connection.

The seized explosives include, 430 kg ammonium nitrate and 183 gellatin sticks, Aurangabad police sources said.

The gellatin sticks were meant for quarry work and were seized as they were stored illegally at village Adgan, nine km from Aurangabad, police said adding that so far no connection between the seizure and terror-related activity was established.
