After witnessing some fluctuation, Mumbaikars can expect temperatures to dip till the weekend. The city reported a nip in the air along with cooler breeze from Tuesday evening.

On Tuesday, the maximum temperatures recorded at both Colaba (28.0 degrees Celsius) as well as Santacruz (28.7degrees Celsius) saw a dip compared to Monday, when the maximum temperature at Santacruz was 31.5 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature recorded at Colaba was 21.0 degrees Celsius while that at Santacruz was 19.0 degrees Celsius.

“The dip in the temperatures is due to the northerly and northeasterly winds over the city and temperatures will drop in the interiors of Maharashtra as well,” said an IMD official.
