In his video, Gandhi tells his audience in Marathi, "Mumbai, I do not trust BMC. I do not. I do not. I support Malishka for telling the truth. If you look at the video, it is not even critical. What she has done could have been the most softest way it could have been put across. She has been targeted and now they are even threatening her with huge defamation case. The mosquito-breeding case on her mother was clear harassment. It is a very dangerous thing.

What they are saying is that they will shut off even mild criticism. I have not heard of this nature by the state. She does not even say BMC is corrupt. All she says is that we do not have trust in BMC. More people should come out and say this. How many people will they prosecute. Hope they understand how stupid they are," said Gandhi.

While the former CIC supported Malishka, the radio jockey's own channel also hit back at the harassment on Thursday through another video.
