DNA in its report dated 23 March had highlighted how the tunnel had become dangerous for motorists owing to the darkness. BMC, in a statement, said, “The cables that supply electricity have been lifted by anti-social elements in the area and we have filed a complaint with RCF Police station in Chembur. We are also arranging temporary lights till the time whole lighting system is not fixed.”
