To provide an opportunity for the domestic tourists to experience the most luxurious way to discover and explore the treasure trove and amazing kaleidoscope of India, Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has come up with an offer of “pay-for-one-and-your-companion-pays-50%” for Indian nationals travelling on the Maharajas Express, one of the finest luxury trains in the world.
The offer will be valid during the coming festive season of Dussehra and Diwali for its four trips commencing on 20th, 27th October 2012, 11th and 14th November 2012.
The trip “Indian Panorama” (Delhi-Jaipur-Ranthamobore-Agra-Gwalior-Orchha-Khajuraho-Varanasi-Lucknow-Delhi) commencing on 20th October 2012 from Delhi will help the tourists explore the hidden treasures of India through the colourful Pink City of Jaipur, wilderness of the Ranthambore National Park, immortal beauty of the Taj Mahal in Agra, the sensuous moods of the Khajuraho temples, the sacred city of Varanasi and the imperial splendour of Lucknow in an 8 days / 7 nights package.
In the “Indian Splendour” (Delhi-Agra-Ranthambore-Jaipur-Bikaner-Jodhpur-Udaipur-Balasinor-Mumbai), another 8 days / 7 nights package commencing on 27th October 2012, the tourists will leave with the everlasting memories of a unique mix of culture, history and folklore of Jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Udaipur. They will also visit the Dinosaur Fossil Park, one of the largest in the world, at Balasinor.
The above two packages start at $ 5,560 per person in a Deluxe Cabin, which will now cost $ 8,340 for two persons with this offer instead of the regular price of $ 11,120.
The other two packages – the “Treasures of India”, commencing on 11th November 2012 and the “Gems of India”, commencing on 14th November 2012 – will take the tourists to Agra, Ranthambore and Jaipur on a 4 days / 3 nights trip starting and finishing at Delhi.
The cost of these two packages starting at $3,580 per person in a Deluxe Cabin will now cost $5,370 for two persons with this offer instead of the regular price of $7,160.
