Cyber law investigation lab in Nashik gets operational

Updating and upgrading the Nashik city police, a state of the art cyber law investigation laboratory has become operational at the Nashik police commissionerate.The cyber investigation lab will assist in investigations of cyber crimes, economic offenses, social media related crimes, E-mail frauds, credit card/ATM related frauds, online lottery cheating, etc.Such cyber labs are to be set-up across all the districts in the state, which will have a centralised processing unit, regional/zonal centres and centre of excellence for investigation. The labs will help in real-time digital media processing, data analysis, and faster investigation. A coordination cell for other activities will also be operationalA Nashik-based company Kanchan Associates will provide and maintain all the necessary infrastructure in the state for these labs.
