"Thousands of policemen will be on bundobast duty from Tuesday till poll day. We have made several detentions and arrests since last month. We have identified critical and vulnerable polling booths and areas and extra bundobast would be deployed there," said Maria.

He added that central para-military forces and state reserve police force have also been roped in for bundobast duty and leaves of all the policemen have been cancelled till the polling day. "There is no specific threat with regards to election. I would appeal all citizens to come out and vote, and I am confident of a free, fair and peaceful polling," he said.1,528 – Polling sites9,879 – Polling booths291 – Critical booths identified33 – Vulnerable locations
