Cops arrest youth for raping sisters, blackmailing them
According to the police, Javed Shaikh, a resident of Ulhasnagar, first raped a 35-year-old Bhandup woman and later raped her 25-year-old sister, a resident of Kanjurmarg, on the pretext of giving her a job.
The Vithalwadi police has arrested a 22-year-old youth for allegedly raping two sisters and filming the incidents. He filmed the entire act and later threatened to make the pictures and videos viral.
According to the police, Javed Shaikh, a resident of Ulhasnagar, first raped a 35-year-old Bhandup woman and later raped her 25-year-old sister, a resident of Kanjurmarg, on the pretext of giving her a job. The accused is a colleague of the elder sister who was living with her husband.
"The accused later blackmailed them and was threatening to make the pictures and videos viral since the past seven months and was raping both sisters on different occasions," said a Vithalwadi police officer. "We have arrested him for rape and blackmailing both the women. When we produced him before Ulhasnagar court, he was remanded into police custody up to July 24," said SJ Shirsath, Senior Police Inspector, Vithalwadi police station. "We have seized his cellphone and are investigating further," added Shirsath.
