MUMBAI: A complaint has been registered against Congress legislator Bhai Jagtap and his assistant for for allegedly threatening an official on poll duty during the civic polls held in the city, police said on Friday.
 
According to the complaint filed by the official, Jagtap, an MLA from Central Mumbai, and his assistant Atul Barve entered a polling station at Bhuleshwar in South Mumbai at around 1.30 pm on Thursday, where the latter allegedly abused an official for carrying out too many procedures to verify their identity and threatened him.
 
According to the complainant, Jagtap also threatened him and abused him verbally.
 
After the completion of the polls, the official registered the complaint, police said.
