Watch: Child on tracks miraculously gets saved from the rushing train

In a shocking incident, a child was saved in the nick of time from being run over by a local train at the Ambernath railway station.

The incident which occurred around 4:05 pm on Sunday was caught in the closed circuit cameras of the station. 

According to Badlapur Railway Protection Force officials, it seemed that the parents got separated at two different platforms and the child- who was with his mother- made a dash for his father by running across the tracks.

RPF inspector SP Singh said, "It is a miracle that the child got pulled out by a passenger a few moments before a train ran into the platform."
