"One person received minor injury and the person was sent to GTB Hospital," said an official from the BMC. The civic body's disaster control department sent their staff to take cognisance of the situation. The local residents said that the bridge has been shut for a few months now.

"It was being maintained by the BMC," said a Western Railway official. The condition of another FOB connecting the platforms at the station, too, is in a precarious condition. Local groups have been protesting about the poor quality of FOB at Charni Road for the past two days.
