A CR statement said that for this purpose prospective investors, bidders and vendors have been asked to submit expression of interest to Central Railway with details within 10 days.

Explaining the specifications, a official said, " Two to five cameras with video-recording facilities, 110 Volts DC supply etc will be required for each coach so that recording of last 30 days is always available. The  cameras must be able to facilitate facial recognition  in low light conditions, etc."

Currently Western Railway is running a coach with CCTV coverage and the results so far have been satisfactory, said officials.
