Anjana Shaha, an IT professional from Thane, says that the internet is the most convenient source for puja recitals. "Every year we plan Ganpati puja in advance, but this year, because of some issues, we were unbale to finalize the preparations. However, we decided at the last moment to bring Ganpati for three days to the house. It was difficult to find a pundit at the eleventh hour and so we decided to rely on the internet or order a CD which will guide in performing the puja."

Akash Dikshit, who lives with five youngsters working in the IT sector and also residing in Thane, says, "For us, the Ganpati festival is all about experimenting with technology while welcoming the elephant god. We bring in Ganpati for three days. For all three days, we make sure to have proper lighting with e-candles. For us artis is all about recorded CDs and we stream online videos to get the complete puja package."
