While the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not declared the toppers for its Class 10 exams, several students in the city have crossed the 99 per cent mark this year. Several prominent schools like RN Podar in Santacruz, Rajhans Vidyalaya in Andheri and many others did not get their detailed school wise results and thus were not able to identify the top scorers.

Mridula Subramanyam, a student of Apeejay Nerul is one of the top scorers with a near perfect score of 99.66 per cent. Mridula has scored a perfect 100 in Mathematics, a subject that she is passionate about. Vaibhavi Tapade from the same school stood second with a score of 99.2 per cent.

With a score of 99.4 per cent Aayush Shah, a student of Sheth Karamsi Kanji English school in Mulund topped his school. Two students from Airoli's New Horizon Public school — Mahek Bhayani and Deepak Dedhia also scored the same percentage and topped their school.

Most Navi Mumbai schools recorded a 100 per cent pass percentage in the exams. Aryan Khurana, a student of DPS Nerul scored 99.1 per cent.
