With over 38,000 aspirants, the March 2018 series witnessed a growth of 13 per cent over last year in India.
Cambridge International (CI) on Thursday announced the results of its March 2018 exams in India for Cambridge IGCSE Class X and CI AS Cass XI and Class XII A level exams. With over 38,000 aspirants, the March 2018 series witnessed a growth of 13 per cent over last year in India.
Most of the students opted for Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Business at AS and A levels for the March exam. The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects continued to be popular among students.
Bijo Kurien, principal, Witty International, said, "Cambridge programme is more practical and application-based and has a broader spectrum."
Neeha Gutpa, school topper from Juhu's Jamnabai Narsee International, with 94.3 per cent in IGCSE, said, "I worked hard and with the support of my school and family I have been able to score well." Gupta has written a book, 'Different', a work of fiction about intergalactic travel and a young alien who has no choice but to live on Earth.
