MUMBAI: A bomb scare at Dadar station on the commuter train line on Monday afternoon turned out to be a hoax and train services were not affected, police said.

"There was a call 15 minutes back and it is a hoax. However, we are checking just to be sure. Trains are running normally and there is no problem. A bomb squad is checking the station," police control room sources said.

A similar bomb scare reported at Vile Parle station on the Western line, hit by serial bomb blasts on July 11, on Saturday turned out to be a hoax.
