The body of a dead woman with deep stab wounds was found lying in the compartment rake, parked at the Kalwa car shed, before midnight.
Woman found murdered in Mumbai train
A young woman was found murdered in the second-class compartment of a suburban trainhere, police said today.
The incident took place last night, when the patrol staff of Railway Protection Force on duty found the body of the woman in the rake, parked at the Kalwa car shed.
The body with deep stab wounds was found lying in the compartment shortly before midnight, they said adding it wasnot known yet when she was killed.
The victim, in her 20s could not be immediatelyidentified and police is awaiting the postmortem report.
The railway police have registered a case of murder and have launched a man hunt for the killers.
