BJP Maharashtra unit president Sudhir Mungattiwar, leaders of opposition, Eknath Khadse (assembly) and Pandurang Phundkar (council) will lead the protests against rising prices and petro price hike in Mumbai, Pune and Aurangabad respectively.The July 5 Bharat Bandh call given by BJP and supported by Shiv Sena, MNS and PWP and RPI is expected to evoke a good response, state BJP spokesperson, Girish Vyas, told reporters today. He, however, could not clarify which faction of RPI was supporting the bandh call.He said party national president Nitin Gadkari and senior leader LK Advani will lead protests in Delhi. BJP state general secretary Davendra Phadanvis and Arun Adsad in Amravati, vice-president Suresh Waghmare in Wardha, Chainsukh Sancheti in Akola, Sanjay Dhotre, MP in Buldana, Babasaheb Kangale in Yavatmal, Hansraj Ahir, MP, in Chandrapur will lead the protests.In Nagpur, city unit president Anil Sole, all local MLAs Sudhkar Deshmukh, Krishna Khopde, Vikas Kumbhare along with city Mayor Archana Dehankar and Girish Vyas himself will lead the protests.
