MUMBAI
The feed related to leaving, comp off, working hours are yet to be updated in the system.
Due to mismanagement of biometric attendance, a few civic-run hospital employees across the city haven't received their entire salary for the month of February. A notice board inside KEM Hospital at Parel stated that the employees who haven't receive their entire salaries will be given the same by Monday.
"A salary message received through SMS showed that I have got only a few thousands of rupees in my salary account. We have been informed that a meeting was held with the higher authority and they have assured to give full salary by March 5," said a civic-run hospital staff member, who did not wish to be named. "Duty rota of the employees will be updated and everybody will be getting their salaries in three days," said Dr Avinash Supe, dean of KEM Hospital.
Trishila Kamble, BMC Nursing and Paramedical Staff Union, general secretary, said, "The salary has been linked to the biometric attendance since January this year. The working hours are not entered in the biometric. Most employees' salaries are kept on hold. The feed related to leaving, comp off, working hours are yet to be updated in the system. We have been raising the queries for many months. Many times, there are problems in the (biometric) machine due to network issues. Few of them need a software upgrade while some are dysfunctional."
