Auto drivers assault two
A verbal fight ensued and another rickshaw driver intervened and began abusing Girija. She called up her son, Subhash, who was beaten with iron rods by the auto drivers.
Two autorickshaw drivers and their two accomplices allegedly attacked a woman and her son Subhash Upadhyay at Vikhroli on Saturday night.
According to the complaint, the driver refused fare to Girija (65). Girija then asked him to take the vehicle to the police station.

The driver who had refused fare, meanwhile, left the spot.
Girija registered a case against two autorickshaw drivers and their two accomplices for assaulting them and causing grievous injury with a weapon. The police have arrested two people.
