With the mouth-watering theme of 'A Hawaiian Escapade' this year, Asia's largest cultural festival, Mood Indigo is all set to start at IIT-Bombay on Friday. Over 1.2 lakh students from across India are expected to attend the fest during December 18-21.

"A special art arena is being introduced in this edition of Mood Indigo which focuses on bringing together unique art forms under one roof and providing recognition to exceptional talent through the festival. Apart from several amazing installations, the ten-feet high sandcastle is the major attraction for which the students have put tremendous efforts to keep it standing for five days," said Ketaki Kakade, media coordinator of the fest.

Apart from the wide range of events like workshops, concerts and celebrity performances, Mood Indigo has more to offer. An Organ Donation Drive "Piece of Me" would be organised to increase the awareness and donors registration.

Mood Indigo also carries the flag to the latest innovative grounds. Xylo bands, RFIDs and a band of quadcopters clicking pictures of the campus and participants from the sky are among such innovations.
