Some political pundits attribute it to the ill health of the social crusader while others say it's because of the agitation fiasco at MMRDA grounds in December.

Senior journalist and political analyst Pratap Asbe said Anna has lost his credibility in the last few months. "Team Anna has lost its credibility completely," he said. "The credibility started declining soon after the movement started talking politics and they came out openly against some party."

Uday Nirgudkar, a political analyst, said though Anna is not visible in the ongoing elections, the issues raised by him still relevant. "The elections are being fought on the issue of corruption.

India Against Corruption (IAC) claimed that Team Anna will be back in March. "There will be gigantic impact of the Anna campaign this election.
