Three persons working in a hotel received burn injuries after a suspected cylinder blast was reported at Kamlesh Apartment near Taloni Naka in Andheri East around 7.06 pm on Wednesday.
According to officials from Disaster Management Cell of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the fire brigade team swung into action and doused the fire later. The exact reason that triggered the fire is being probed, however, cylinder blast is suspected as residents heard a loud sound.
The injured persons could only be have been identified as Purushottam, 30, Sami 27 and Badlal, 36.
