An Aurangabad-bound Air India aircraft with around 100 passengers onboard suffered a tyre burst while it was taxiing for take-off at Mumbai airport on Friday.
An Aurangabad-bound Air India aircraft with around 100 passengers onboard suffered a tyre burst while it was taxiing for take-off at Mumbai airport Friday.
All the passengers were safe and left in another aircraft two hours later, an airline spokesperson said.
"At 4:19pm, Air India flight IC 887 (Mumbai- Aurangabad) when taxiing towards the runway reported a tyre burst," the official said.
The incident caused a delay of around two hours and the flight finally took off at 6.15 PM, the official added.
