“The four were studying in Class VII and VIII in St. Anne’s School at Pali Hill in Bandra (West). All of them were under 14 years. They were booked under the Juvenile Justice Act. They were allowed to go after their parents were called to the Wadala railway police station,”  said senior inspector Jitendra Rathod of the Wadala railway police station.

According to the police Rathod was traveling in the gents compartment when he saw four students performing stunts, shouting and screaming in adjoining ladies compartment. After the train was stopped at Cotton Green station, the railway police swung into action and detained them. During inquiry one of the students revealed that he had gone to meet their relatives at Reay Road. They even did not inform their parents, Rathod pointed out.
