In an incident took place on November 10 at Bhim Colony, in Ulhasnagar, around 8pm, a 29-year-old truck driver was hit by an unknown vehicle. The police is on a lookout for the accused.

The deceased has been identified as Shivkumar Bharich Harijan. Central hospital has handed over the body to the family after the post mortem.

A case has been registered with the Vitthalwadi police station under sections 279 (rash driving or riding on a public way), 304a (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicle Act 134.

Reportedly on the incident day, the deceased who has been identified as age 29 years old who works as truck driver and he is a resident of Andheri. It was around 8pm when the deceased who went to sleep on road side behind the truck stand, after a passer by saw the deceased body which was crushed badly he alerted the police station. The body was sent to the Central hospital and after tracing his identity the family were informed about the same.

Chandrakant Khuspe, investigation officer from the Vitthalwadi police station said, "The accused is at large. We are on a lookout for the accused and are hopeful of his arrest soon. Further probe is on."
