16 flights to Mumbai diverted after heavy rain
According to sources at the Mumbai airport, a majority of the flights arriving to Mumbai had to be diverted to Ahmedabad airport in Gujarat, which is among the airports proximate to the city
Heavy rains that were accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms late on Monday evening forced at least 16 flights arriving to Mumbai to divert to other airports located in other states.
According to sources at the Mumbai airport, a majority of the flights arriving to Mumbai had to be diverted to Ahmedabad airport in Gujarat, which is among the airports proximate to the city.
Another flight was diverted to Delhi.
