A day after launching the Moto Z2 Play in the US, Lenovo-owned Motorola has announced that the smartphone will go on pre-order in India on June 8. While it’s very much clear that the smartphone is going to launch in India pretty soon, then company has announced a host of offers as well.

To start with, customers can pre-order their Moto Z2 Play by paying an advance pre-order price of Rs 2,000. After which they can pay the balance amount with 0% interest in 10 months. Apart from this Motorola will also pack the Moto Z2 Play with Moto Armor pack, which will come with protective accessories to protect your phone.

It may be recalled that Motorola had also revealed four new Mods for its second generation of the Z line of smartphones: the JBL SoundBoost 2, the Moto TurboPower Pack, Moto Style Shells with Wireless Charging, and the Moto GamePad. At the moment, there’s no word on which mods the company will launch in India.

The smartphone comes with a nano-coating that works as a water-repellent. Motorola has changed the look of the smartphone too. The new Moto Z2 Play now comes with a smooth metal unibody design as compared to a glass back on the last year’s Moto Z Play. At the back, the smartphone comes with connecting pins along with the rear camera with a bump. Up front, there is the fingerprint scanner placed underneath the Home Button.

The smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch, 1080p AMOLED display. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC under the hood. The smartphone is paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. There is also an option to expand the storage further via a microSD card up to 64GB.

On the photography front, the smartphone sports a 12-megapixel dual-pixel autofocus camera with f/1.7. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 and dual LED flash. Armed with a 3,000mAh battery, the smartphone comes with support to TurboPower which the company claims is good enough to last up to 30 hours of battery life between charges.

The Moto Z2 Play comes with connectivity options like dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, Wi-Fi and USB Type-C port. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. Additionally, the smartphone comes with sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
