The Apple frenzy last night took over the entire world with the latest launch of its X edition. In its first-ever event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, technology giant Apple unveiled the next generation iPhone.

The all-glass device has an edge-to-edge display and no home button. It unlocks using facial recognition software. Tim Cook also introduced the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, with screen sizes of 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch, respectively. 

The latest offerings from Apple are undoubtedly a full package. With few surprises, the company sets the starting  price of  $999 for the 64GB version. The 256GB handset will start from $1,149.

1. iPhone X in Rs 1,02,000.With edge-to-edge display screens and no home buttons, iPhone X will be available at the starting price of $999 for the 64GB version. The 256GB handset will start from $1,149. The feature that apple fans will love will be the facial recognition software. The device has 12MP dual-lens cameras optimised for augmented reality and wireless charging. 

However, in India the iPhone X will cost Rs 89,000 for the 64GB variant. The top end version with 256GB RAM will cost Rs 1,02,000.

2. iPhone 8 and 8 Plus revealed tooThe iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus also revealed during the 10th Apple anniversary. The devices are more or less resemble to iPhone 7, however, the new offerings come with a glass back for wireless charging, which Apple claims is the most durable glass ever in a smartphone.

iPhone 8 will come in 3 colours, Silver, space grey and new gold finish. There will be a 4.7" display in the 8 and 5.5" display in the Plus variant.

3. How to buyThe iPhone X will go on sale in India from November 3, the same day when it will be available in global markets.The pre order for iPhone 8, 8 Plus will begin from September 15. The US price for iPhone 8 is being settled at $699 and for iPhone 8 Plus is $799. In India, the starting price for the same will be Rs 64,000 and will be available from September 29.

4. Apple Watch gets new looksApple Watch is, according to Tim Cook, the top-selling smart watch in the world. The price for which has been dropped to $299. The company presented the Apple Watch in last night's event with a complete makeover.

It has added new, colourful Watch bands to the mix, with a new woven-nylon band, new Sport and Leather band styles, and a brand new space black Milanese loop for the black Apple Watch.

5. An updated Apple TV Apple sold the largest amount of Apple TVs after the introduction of the fourth-generation Apple TV, which supported 5,000 Apple TV apps including  HBO Now, NCAA March Madness Live, AG Drive, BrainPop among others.

With an update announced, now, users can get a new version of the Apple TV that enables “4K” resolution video watching experience. Apple also informed that it;s been working with Netflix and Amazon Prime to bring their 4K originals to Apple TV.
