OnePlus introduces a low-budget phone and brings about new features

Popular smartphone manufacturer OnePlus brought forth a range of new features for its customers. The company also launched its first low-end budget phone and it is rolling out an update for the HydrogenOS.

Under its IDEAS 2.0 program, its members have chosen seven best ideas from the second round. The program ended with more opinions, which would pave the way for the future of their implementation.

Along with that, OnePlus is now rolling out a new HydrogenOS update for the OnePlus 7 devices in China. The 10.0.9 version of this operating system would fix some of the bugs and bring improvements to the software system. It solves the problem with the alarm clock, which was found to be not ringing in certain cases. This update has enhanced system stability too according to the changelog.

OnePlus launched its first low-end budget phone, OnePlus Nord N100, with a 60Hz display refresh rate. It is being called a rebranded Oppo A53 and compared with it because it has a 90Hz display as well, reports Android Authority.

The popularity of OnePlus products became apparent when its flash sale of $1 OnePlus buds ended within a minute's time with its stock getting depleted quickly. It started at 11 a.m. in the morning (Eastern time) and ended at 11:01 a.m.

Through the 'OnePlus Go Farther' contest, the mobile telecommunication company T-Mobile placed three pop-up stores at different locations in the US. The hints are available on T-Mobile's official Twitter account to help the contestants in figuring out the location of these pop-up stores.

As for a deal, a limited offer is available on B&H Photo to buy an OnePlus 8T (256 GB + 12GB RAM variant) and OnePlus Buds bundle for $269, which would cost $749 when directly bought from OnePlus.
