| As for the bowling, Vishwa Fernando started the charge and picked up 3 wickets in all. Kasun Rajitha also picked 3 of his own, whereas the part-timers in Dhananjaya de Silva and Dimuth Karunaratne picked up 3 between them. The fielding was a slight let-down, with 3 catches being dropped. Maybe the hosts could have been bowled out earlier otherwise but the Lions will not mind this either.
