Commentary :
0.0 : Isn't cricket a lot more fun when the bowlers are dominating? Well, high-scoring thrillers are also exciting but there is something that fascinates you when the bowlers make the ball talk. We are hoping for another turner of a wicket here, what about you?
Should have had the toss by now but, but, guess what has made its presence felt, THE RAIN! It has been delayed for now. Well, if there is rain here, there is no rain in Nottingham for now so you can catch all the action from the Test match where India's trail has gone below 30.
Good news! The rain has eased off, it has actually stopped! The groundsmen are doing their job and the players too are out in the middle warming up. The drainage here is excellent so we are hopeful of having a 20-over game.
The covers are back on! There is a slight drizzle and it is quite dark out there! The players too have gone back inside. The groundsmen have also made their way back into shelter so these are not good signs.
THE COVERS ARE COMING OFF AGAIN! The groundsmen are also doing their bit. Let us hope rain does not make its presence felt again.
UPDATE 1837 local - Even better news now! All the covers are off! The clouds too seemed to have passed away. The toss can't be far away now. Stay tuned. There is now an inspection going on. Both the umpires are out there having a look with their masks on. Wade and Langer are out there having a look at the pitch. They would be desperately hoping for a wicket which is a little more batting friendly. The Bangladesh players are in a huddle. Also, we are entering the territory where we might start to
THERE IS A DEBUTANT FOR THE AUSSIES! Starc has been seen handing the cap over to Nathan Ellis! For those who do not know, he is a pacer, he has been really impressive in the Big Bash in the last few overs and this was on the cards.
Bowlers, bowlers dominating in Nottingham and here in Bangladesh too. It is the seamers there and it is the spinners here. Courtesy that, the hosts have a 2-0 lead in the series. Another win and that will see them bag the series with 2 games to go and they are favorites to do so. Does Australia have it in them to keep it alive? We will find out. Welcome to the coverage.
UPDATE - Also, we have some timings now! The toss will take place at 1900 local and game will begin at 1915 local, provided there is no further rain.
TOSS - Up goes the coin and it lands in the favor of Bangladesh. They have ELECTED TO BAT FIRST!
Mahmudullah says they would want to put up a good total, the bowlers have done well and they would want to restrict them later on. Mentions it is a big opportunity for them and he hopes they can win. Informs they are unchanged.
Matthew Wade says they wanted to bowl, there is the weather around, he is not sure what is going to happen but he would have bowled. States there are three games left so they can still win the series but they need to get things right here. Informs they have three changes, Nathan Ellis, Dan Christian and Ben McDermott come in for Josh Philippe, Mitchell Starc and Andrew Tye.
AUSTRALIA (PLAYING XI) - Matthew Wade (WK/C), Ben McDermott ( IN FOR Josh Philippe), Mitchell Marsh, Moises Henriques, Alex Carey, Ashton Turner, Dan Christian (IN FOR Andrew Tye), Ashton Agar, Nathan Ellis (IN FOR Mitchell Starc), Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood.
BANGLADESH (UNCHANGED PLAYING XI) - Mohammad Naim, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahedi Hasan, Mahmudullah (C), Afif Hossain, Nurul Hasan (WK), Shamim Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam, Nasum Ahmed.
PITCH REPORT - Farveez Maharoof says it is going to get tougher for the batters. There is hardly any grass and it is not going to be easy to bat. Ends by saying the spinners in the middle will be the key for Bangladesh and anything close to 130 will be a good total.
We are all set for the action to begin! The Bangladesh openers, Mohammad Naim and Soumya Sarkar walk out to the middle. Australia on the other hand, start off with a spinner, Ashton Turner it is. Not a bad move, he bowled well against the Windies and with two-left handers out there, he could well be handy.
0.4 : An appeal for a stumping and it is referred upstairs. Sarkar seems in.
Ashton Turner to Soumya Sarkar, Flatter again on middle. Sarka pushes it to covers.
0.5 : Ashton Turner to Soumya Sarkar, NOT OUT! A flatter ball, angling way down the leg side. Sarkar looks to flick but seems to miss it. Wade behind the stumps, grabs it and appeals for caught behind first but then clips the bails off and then appeals for a stumping. It is referred upstairs. Both are checked. Ultra Edge shows it hit the pad. Now they check for the stumping and that shows that Sarkar did go out of the crease but made it back in time.
0.6 : Who will bowl from the other end then? Josh Hazlewood it is!

It is on the pads, Mahmudullah flicks it uppishly towards short fine leg. Ellis there dives to his left and looks to take it inches above the ground but does not hang on. A single. This is probably the kind of a luck a batter who is struggling for runs needs. Can he make most of the life?
3.5 : Josh Hazlewood to Shakib Al Hasan, Shorter and closer to the body, cramping the batter for room. Shakib nudges it on the leg side for one.

7.2 : Mitchell Marsh to Mahmudullah, FOUR! A much-needed boundary for the Tigers! A fuller ball on middle. Mahmudullah lofts it over mid-wicket. It bounces just before the ropes and hence a boundary. That was a risky shot. It was the longer part of the ground. Had he hit that to the other side, it would have gone over the ropes. They needed to check upstairs if it had gone all the way or not and it bounced just inside.

8.1 : Adam Zampa to Shakib Al Hasan, OUT! This is a big wicket for the Aussies as Shakib Al Hasan was starting to get into his own now! Zampa once again strikes on the first ball of his new over. He gives it air and lands it on off, Shakib looks to go downtown. He does hit it decently but not well enough. Agar runs to his left and looks to take it with a slide but his back foot gets stuck in the groud. The good thing for the visitors is that he hangs on. Shakib is gutted as he walks back. He kno

11.5 : Dan Christian to Mahmudullah, NOT OUT! Umpre's call it is and it did seem like that would be the case! This lands on off and then grips, holds its line. 19.6 : What an end to the innings for Nathan Ellis! The way he celebrated the last wicket just shows how pleased he was, he probably did not believe it himself that he had taken a hat-trick. A day to remember for him. He becomes the first bowler to take a hat-trick in T20Is on debut.
Coming to the game now, Bangladesh have finished with just short of a total they defended in the first game! Not sure if they will actually be happy with that or they felt they could have got more. Well, if you think in normal circumstances, 127 is not close to par but by what we have seen so far in this series, it is a very good score. They have just the one man to thank and that is their skipper, Mahmudullah, he walked out when they were 3 for 2, he kept losing partners but held fort at one en

Hasan pulls it straight towards deep mid-wicket where Ashton Agar takes a low dipping catch. A dream debut for Nathan Ellis.  Bangladesh end at 127 for 9.
The Australians started off really well but let the pressure off in the middle overs! The key for them was, they kept picking wickets at regular intervals but more than their bowling, it was their fielding which was really good and courtesy that, they saved quite a few runs for their side. Just the three bowlers were successful in picking wickets but expect for Ellis, who in the end had exceptional figures, the rest were quite economical.
Josh Hazlewood to Mohammad Naim, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! First blood to Australia and Hazlewood strikes! The runs were not flowing and now the first one falls! A good length ball on middle, moving across from the batter. Mohammad Naim looks to guide it down to third man but the ball kisses the outside edge and the keeper takes a brilliant low catch.
2.1 : Adam Zampa to Soumya Sarkar, OUT! LBW! Zampa serves a very full ball on middle and leg. Sarkar goes for the sweep but misses it completely. Australia appeal for LBW, the umpire takes quite a while but raises his finger in the end. Sarkar has a chat with Shakib Al Hasan and goes for the review. UltraEdge shows no bat on it. Ball Tracking shows umpire's call and the on-field decision stays. Soumya Sarkar departs after struggling in the middle and Bangladesh are 2 down. The move to get Zamp
