Bant Singh, a Dalit labourer from Jhabhar village in Punjab has emerged as an agricultural labour activist fighting against powerful landowners. He is not doing this using weapons or protest marches. Bant Singh is not the only one. All across our country, there are heroes like him who are battling injustice, struggles and conflicts through music. Zee Digital Convergence Limited’s (ZDCL) Chords of Change, a Ditto TV original, will bring to you such stories. It is a never-seen-before music documentary series that will take you on a journey of these guardians of justice from the fields of Punjab to the bustling streets of Mumbai. “It is one of our first initiatives to empower people through content, across India and the world,” says Sharlton Menezes, the Business Head of ZDCL – Original Content.
Celebrate this Republic Day with Chords of Change as the first of the 10 episodes go live on Ditto TV, Facebook and YouTube on January 26. The remaining 9 episodes will be released every Thursday on Ditto TV.
