Researchers say running lowers death risk

Running can reduce the probability of death from any cause, says a new study. If more people take up running and they don't have to run far or fast, there is likely to be a substantial improvement in population health and longevity. It's not clear how good running is for staving off the risk of death from any cause and particularly from cardiovascular disease and cancer.
