“My heart was racing fast and I was more nervous than anything I have felt in my own races!” he laughs.

His main cause for concern was getting it right on the ramp. “I was nervous about getting the walk right,” he reveals before going on to rave about the outfit he wore as the show stopper. “I loved the outfit. I loved wearing the white pants and the colour of the jacket was fantastic,” he adds. That he had to face the cameras shirtless didn’t make him feel even a wee bit awkward.

“Being a swimmer, I am most comfy in bare minimum, so I didn’t feel shy about showing off my chest, “ he quips. The paparazzi and interviews post the show were an equally exciting affair for the  25 year-old sportsman.

“I loved the attention,” gushes Rehan who is already training for the Olympic qualifiers.
