'Tweeples' or Twitter pals are a mixed bunch of people who use the social networking and microblogging website Twitter. Tweeples of the city will have their second meeting at Zencafé on Saturday. They will tweet about each other, work, personal life, professional life and how to play an active role in society.

According to co-organiser, Jaydip Parikh, "At our first experimental meeting we found the mode of interaction very interesting. We converse with each other either daily or weekly on Twitter on various topics. We decided to have this offline meeting to get to know each other and make the conversations more interesting."

The three other organising members are Jatin Chaudhary, Amit Panchal and Mittul Dadhani. On the importance of meeting face-to-face, Parikh elaborated, "We get to know the person and his or her interests and level of knowledge. This helps us in networking, expanding our businesses, motivating each other and also helps increase or decrease brand value of a purchase someone has made. The group includes students, professionals and entrepreneurs. "

During the 'tweet meet' they also plan to discuss various ways this group could be useful to the city via Twitter. During the last meeting there were 40 registrations and around 25 people turned up. This time, there are 30 registrations so far.
