Trend-spotting at India Fashion Week
The just concluded India Fashion Week in Delhi had its share of hits and misses. Here’s looking back on the week that was.
The fashion week in Delhi, this time around was aiming for the stars. And in all probability it might just have just succeed. First, there was a conscious effort to ensure that the clothes were the most talked about things at the event and not any personality. Secondly, the organizers and designers were also trying to promote green fashion. Day Four had its share of ups and downs, as it was a heady mix of super talent and some redundant styles taking center stage. Nida Mahmood’s after-party for the day saw the fashion industry turn up (though not in huge numbers) to congratulate her on the success of her show. All in all, a satisfying fashionable day.
