Sports meets fashionDay Four saw fashion designer Rahul Mishra step out of his comfort zone and show a line that merged dexterity with delicate fabrics at the Wills India Fashion Week. He teamed Maheshwari weaves with sporty fabrics and the result was jackets and silhouettes he claims you can even wear and play a cricket match! Black Maheshwari fabrics were adorned with yellow stretch patches and piping for an edgy feel to it. Maybe sports lovers will finally have a reason to indulge in fashion as well now! Pop that colourDesigner Vijay Balhara's collection screamed of his signature styles. Over the top make-up, gold embellishments and fringed tops in a fluorescent colour pallete, Vijay made sure that dressing up in winters is more than just about outfits in black, blue and grey. Japanese treatSaturday also got a taste of international fashion as Japanese styles enthralled the audience. The focus being the prints and baby doll designs, the show was a cumulative of silhouettes that boasted of superior structures and cuts.
