For a while now, our office meal deliveries have meant oily chole-kulchas or greasy burgers — nothing we will recommend. But the other day, the spread on our table was enough to send a warm fuzzy feeling through us. The neatly-packaged baos and ramen bowls were just waiting to be devoured. With names like Chefs Yash Rajpal (ex-Pa Pa Ya) and Ashwin Ramachandran (ex-ITC Hotels) associated with Milliways.Inc, the delivery kitchen, we expected nothing short of ‘yum’.

One bite of the Crispy Chicken Sriracha Bao (Rs 250) and we were goners. The baos, made in-house were soft and the crumb fried marinated chicken went deliciously well with the sriracha mayo. The Miso Ramen with Chashu Belgian Pork Belly (Rs 460) had fresh noodles teamed with a rich veggies broth in a miso blend. If there was comfort to be found in a bowl, we would have probably taken a dive into the Khao Soi with Chicken (Rs 350) or in the Vegetable Rendang Curry (Rs 320). While the former was a delicious blend of wheat noodles with a coconut and Bengal gram broth with lemon, fried garlic, roasted peanuts, shallots and chilli oil, the latter was an Indonesian coconut curry served with turmeric and lemon grass infused rice. But keep space for the Spaced-Out Dark Chocolate Mousse (Rs 190). The sesame crackers provided the perfect crunch for the creamy, decadent choco mousse.

Must we add, ‘yum!’
