STYLE HUNTER: Sportified lace

Designers in their Spring Summer 2019 collections toyed with the classic lace — presenting it in sporty separates. Think athleisure mixed with age-old femininity. Victoria Beckham sent out lace trimmed camisoles paired with tailored pantsuits and Christopher Kane presented it in evening pieces mixed with sparkle. 

Off-White showcased a bodysuit with a lace-trimmed train and Riccardo Tisci’s Burberry runway saw a slip dress with gingham sleeves. The netting meshwork was also seen at Koche, Sacai and Alexander Wang thus making it the key trend for the coming season.
