Culottes were seen almost everywhere. In fact it won't be an exaggeration to call them the new jumpsuits! Victoria Beckham played with asymmetrical shapes in her line - be in coats or dresses and also included tassels and sequins. Carolina Herrera's line had feathers as the leitmotif appearing on voluminous gowns and skirts. Zac Posen's muse - supermodel Coco Rocha flirted with his floral concoctions and Alessandro Michele went unabashedly retro playing with chevron prints, knotted blouse and androgyny. Philipp Plein stuck to his glam rock aesthetic - sequinned skulls, biker leather jackets paired with micro minis.

Highlights: The show opened with an asmmetrical fringed cape-coat worn with white slingback flats. Taselled coats and tench coats were worn over cropped and cuffed trousers. A chunky knit top with exaggerated sleeves was paired with a wrap skirt. An asymmetrical lace LBD accented with a floral pin (which was a leitmotif accessory across the line) stood out. There was a generous amount of sequins too appearing on a black blazer or a sequinned sheathed dress.

Vibe: Romantic
Highlights: Plums were reimagined in the form of sequins, beads and laser-cut plastic embroidery. Floral print chiffon maxi dress, a lace crop top was paired with a bright yellow skirt with abstract florals, Culottes were seen all across the runway. Feathery motifs on gowns and tea-length dresses added to the line's hypnotic allure.

Vibe: Glam rock
Highlights: A biker jacket studded with sequins was paired with sequinned denims. A biker jacket with a victory sign print was paired with a mini skirt. A playful sweatshirt splashed with hexagon motif, Pac-man print and skulls was paired with leather leggings and accessoried with a sequinned leather backpack. Mini black shifts with pink heart prints was accessorised with a heart print tote. Monochrome graphic prints stood out too.

Zac Posen
Vibe: Romantic
Highlights: Zac's friend and muse Coco Rocha modelled all the looks. Jewel-toned rompers, floral bodysuits, dresses paired with sharply cut blazers in tones like tangerine and cobalt blue were some of the strongest looks. Khaki green skirt suit combo worn with a floral top underneath and a knee-length body-skimming tangerine dress evoked old world romance.

Gucci
Vibe: Retro
Highlights: The resort offering was an extension of Alessandro Michele's fall winter debut line. A chevron print knee-length dress opened the show, followed by granny-ish knotted lunch suits, 60s shift dresses which were paired with strappy gladiator shoes. A sheer top was paired with a knife pleated midi-skirt. Menswear stood out, for instance, a long plaid coat worn with open-toe flats and a striped cricket sweater worn with wide-legged trousers with exaggerated hem. Androgyny is the core of Michele's aesthetic.
