Princess poiseSonam Kapoor slays it this week in this ornate Anamika Khanna ensemble and potli bag at Masaba Gupta's wedding reception. Sleek centre-parted hair and jadau neck choker accent the look beautifully. And of course, full marks for the confidence with which poses. Guess playing modern day princess comes naturally to the fashionista.Bajirao on steroidsWhile we admire Ranveer Singh's penchant for wild prints and acidic tones, this look borders on clown-ish. American Horror Story's Circus episodes come to mind. Going print on print and with that pink underneath is rather distracting and attention seeking more than anything else. How about toning down the crazy prints with a pair of sleek denims or clashing prints with neutrals? Too much to ask for?Match muchMadhuri Dixit has been spotted carrying this blue bag a couple of times and she likes to accessorise it with every ensemble under the sun. Or maybe it's her lucky bag. Anyway the blue jacket looks too much when paired with the blue bag. Needless to say that we need some divine style intervention here.Far from flatteringThis Mayur Girortra outfit looks far from flattering on Maria Goretti who wore it at Masaba's wedding reception. The poufy mermaid silhouette looks like a mini tent. Also, the matching blouse and the sari border look a tad much. However, Maria still manages to make it work with her spunky personality.Jarring JumpsuitWe can't really put a finger on what exactly went wrong here - either it's the jewel tone which made it photograph badly or the unflattering fit around the crotch - Mini Mathur's jumpsuit isn't the most redeeming pick. After killing it in an emerald green Sanjay Garg creation at Masaba's reception, this look is a bit of a let down.Fit issuesJacqueline Fernandez who usually dresses well shocked us this week by opting for this sad and forgettable anarkali which had an awkward fit. The pleats don't look appealing or perhaps it needed a bit of ironing and also the way she's worn the dupatta makes the ensemble a tad aunty-ish. Sorry but it's far from wow.
