Of peaches and blush
At the India Couture Week designers played with pastel tones
Besides the noir blacks and flaming reds, the recently concluded couture week saw designers toying with an icy pastel palette - icy blue, lagoon blue pista green and pretty peaches.
Varun Bahl showcased a pale green kurta and another pastel in the same tone lehenga was accented with vibrant floral applique at the hem. Monisha Jaising paired a faint blue sari with minimal embellishments with a black blouse and sent out a long jacket with mirror work in lagoon blue tone.
Anju Modi accented her pastel pieces with gold separates like the gold dupatta and her groom. For the demure bride who likes to whisper with her style than shout.
