Australian retail conglomerate Westfield is offering to pay 100,000 dollars a year to the country's "savviest shopper", who will also author its "Westfield Insider" shopping blog.
The company is offering a 12-month contract to write about "on-trend, on-budget" fashion, product and retail news, and guide an online shopping community through the blog and Westfield's Facebook page.
Emphasising value for money and trend spotting, Westfield says it is looking for a talented fashion writer whose common touch will resonate with its customers.
"Westfield will employ a real shopper that will provide relevant information about our retailers at a local level," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted John Batistich, Westfield's General Manager of Marketing, as saying.
"As the Westfield Insider you will stay up to date with fashion, sales, promotions and retailer news, with the aim of sharing your expert tips and advice with other shoppers," he said.
The hiring process is essentially a competition with candidates given the opportunity to impress Westfield's panel of judges at "interview events" across the country.
