The recently concluded Amazon Indian Fashion Week and Lakme Fashion Week showcased looks exhaling a wanderlust vibe. Designers across the board had a similar reference point - a hippie traveller who's exploring different countries and cultures without skipping a style beat. Anupama Dayal's Jamali Kamali's line comprised of kurtas, kaftans and culottes in vibrant prints, Shruti Sancheti in her aptly titled Nomadistan edicated to the modern day beatniks who are unencumbered by boundaries or any sort of barometers. Labels like Hemant and Nandita and Eka took a similar vagrant route Internationally too the fall runways were awash with bohemian vagabond ensembles evoking post card perfect travel memories and anecdotes. Gucci's Alessandro Michele's new fall line emitted a magpie allure and Burberry offered a whimsical artisanal concoctions.
