While it’s the best phase of any woman’s life, pregnancy is also a few months of being bombarded with so much of information from all corners, that a sense of confusion takes the better of most moms-to-be. That’s when a unique concept like Mom’s Lounge restores peace and a sense of sanity.

Business head of Mom’s Lounge, Anika Puri, who is also a childbirth educator and pregnancy specialist, informs, “Mahindra Retail Mom’s Lounge is all about women working for women. We realised the need of a luxury one-stop shop for moms-to-be and new moms — be it changing and feeding rooms, free information sessions extended not just for products, but also to fitness and wellness services, which are imperative during the pre-natal and post-natal phase of one’s life.”   

While going through both her pregnancies, Anika, who is also a passout of the College of Reproductive Health, UK, realised the need of specialised focus on information, wellness and fitness for to-be moms and new moms and that’s how she conceived the concept of the lounge. “Mom’s Lounge is a place to come and relax over a cup of tea, watch a birth video, read up or be informed about the many aspects of pregnancy and, of course, get the often naive husband along as well,” she states.
