The National Film Development Corporation Ltd, better known as the NFDC, and publishing company Harlequin recently announced that they are colaborating for the Romance Screenwriters' Lab 2014. The first-ever Romance Screenwriters' Lab in India, it will focus on developing scripts based on romance and women-centric plots.What to expectThe Lab will be held in three parts. Three eminent film personalities are expected to join in on the panel as mentors. There'll also be workshops organised by Harlequin with mentors from publishing industry. The last stage of the Lab will culminate at Film Bazaar, Goa. Here participants will get a chance to pitch projects to film producers.Harlequin also will offer book deals to some of the selected projects.Application fee for the lab is Rs 5,000 and last date to apply is May 23.For more details, check filmbazaarindia.com
