Washington: An odd image spotted on Apple Maps, which some say proves existence of Loch Ness monster, may just be a boat wake.Amateur Loch Ness Monster enthusiasts, whose Fan Club founder Gary Campbell has spoken much about the now-viral image, which his organization has been studying for months, Tech Crunch reported. He said that the ripple in the image looks like a boat wake, but the boat is missing, asserting that some boats are moored at the shore, but there isn't one present near ripple. The satellite image, which was discovered in Apple's mapping program, shows a sizable ripple in the water, similar to a boat wake.A number of articles have pointed out that objects – like boats – go missing from the satellite maps' imagery is a fairly common occurrence while the computer programs stitch together overlapping images to form an image.
