It’s hard to resist the Christmas goodies

Christmas is celebration time for everyone, feels designer and rallyist Anita Kholay.

This is that time of the year when celebrations are at its peak and everyone wants to be a part of it. Since most of the other festivals are spent at home, my family and I love going out on Christmas day to capture the festive spirit that pervades the city.

Of course, a part of going out also means eating out and what better time to try out some great food than Christmas. There’s just so much to choose from and with all the Christmas brunches flooding the city and the roasted turkeys and glazed hams and mince pies and tarts and sparkling wine to choose from — can I ever say we are spoilt for choice?

Moreover, the kids also look forward to a fun day out with all the Christmas cheer around them — the decorated Christmas trees, gift-wrapped boxes, goodies — I want them to soak in the most of all this fun. And of course, how can I deny them their share of cookies and treats?

Also, I feel that Christmas is a festivity that nobody can stay away from - it’s just not possible to not get affected by all the fun and frolic around.
